Lleyton Hewitt is confident his party can only improve after overcoming
teen Thanasi Kokkinakis qualifier in the first round of the Brisbane
International on Tuesday .The
32- year-old had to work hard for the stunning Kokkinakis of South
Australia before claiming a 6-3, 7-5 in one hour and 40 minutes at Pat

might have expected cruise to the second round after overcoming a
bright start by claiming Kokkinakis opening set , but the 17- year-old
refused to follow the script .A
break in the second service game in the second set Hewitt put the
two-time Grand Slam champion under some pressure and it was not until
the tenth game of the set was able to break back.After
that, although the world number 628, playing in his debut match ATP
Tour, he seemed to lose his spirit and Hewitt was able to close a
victory that creates a second round clash with sixth favorite Spanish
